1000 Pound Sisters star Amy Slaton has found out she’s pregnant with her second child after three weeks of constipation.
The 35-year-old reality star, who fronts the TLC series with brother Tammy Slaton, announced last January that she was expecting her second baby with husband Michael Holterman.
Amy welcomed son Glenn in July and recently marked his six-month milestone on Instagram.
In a clip from the new series of £1000 sisters shared exclusively Metro.co.ukAmy and Michael excitedly share the pregnancy news with their expectant mother, unleashing how they knew there was bread in the oven.
“I have a big surprise for you guys,” she declared. “We’ve been waiting a while to tell you this…”
“Well, we are expecting another child,” enthused Michael.
Amy continues: I still don’t know what it is.
Speaking directly to the camera in her confession, Amy went on to add:
‘And now it was like baby, I haven’t pooped in three weeks!
Constipation usually occurs when stool remains in the colon for a long time and the colon takes up too much water, making the stool hard.
It is a common ailment that affects people of all ages and is also common during pregnancy and 6 weeks after giving birth.
According to the NHS website, constipation can usually be cured with minor changes in diet and lifestyle.
Amy has watched her son Glen grow up.
Earlier this week, she shared an update about her little boy who just turned 6 months old.
“This boy is so smart he’s hit every milestone and some milestones,” she wrote. Or the army crawls.(sic)
The 1000Lb Sisters will be back at TLC on Tuesday, January 17th at 9/8c.
