Physical changes can’t stop you from wanting to work out. Pregnancy, however, is an entirely different journey. Many athletes, such as Tia-Clair Toomey, have proven that when it comes to fitness, balancing taking well-needed breaks from the gym and finally getting back to work can work. Her CrossFit Games champion recently announced her pregnancy on social media. But nothing stopped new moms from sweating in the gym.
Toomey may have pulled out of the next CrossFit Games, but she’s still working hard at the gym. In a recent YouTube video of her, the champ returned to the gym for an intense workout with help. With the help of her husband, trainers and doctors, Toomey has devised a plan to keep her healthy and make sure the little new member is doing well. Let’s see!

Carrying a baby can eventually become difficult. From morning sickness to cravings, the list of discomforts is endless. Still, everyone has different abilities, and Toomey seems to be building her abilities strong. Pregnant moms are currently in their second trimester and motherhood is just beginning.
Toomey admitted that her journey while pregnant was pretty weird. At first she felt exhausted and she quickly ran out of energy. Add to that the fact that there was no food she found appealing enough to eat, except for scrambled eggs. , was resting and eating something heavy on the stomach. However, the energy exploded in the closing stages and Toomey made a spectacular comeback in the gym.

What followed was a series of pregnancy-friendly training sessions at the gym. While at the gym, the athlete also gave adorable updates on baby health so far. “Baby is doing great. I checked with the doctor and he was very happy with his heart rate and size…I literally love this whole process.”.

Pregnancy may be a different experience for everyone, but Toomey seems to be enjoying the process through its ups and downs. I am determined to The past few months have proven to be a little too exhausting for the athlete, but she put it to good use by resting and taking a break.Now that she’s back, her fans are sure to have a few more to come.
