Hilary Swank had to get a little crafty in her first trimester of pregnancy!
The actor, who announced in October that she was expecting twins, was in the middle of working on her series. Alaska Daily when she found out she was pregnant.
At the time, she wasn’t ready to break the news to the show’s cast and crew, but she realized she had to find a way to hide her pregnancy.
The most difficult task was when shooting the running scene for her character, who is an avid jog on the show.
“It takes two hours to do a minute or two on screen,” Hilary said. The Late Late Show“They want it from this angle, this angle…you’ll be running for two hours.
Hilary then devised a plan to tell the crew that she was a “really bad runner” and needed a stunt double.
“They were all like, ‘Huh? You? What? You need a stuntman to run?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, really bad,'” Hilary explained.
When her colleagues weren’t completely convinced, they asked her to show her her running skills and see how bad it was.
“I was like, ‘OK, how do I look like a really bad runner?’ I thought, ‘No,'” Hillary said.
The guys tried to teach her how to run, but Hillary held on tight – and she got a stunt double!
