The couple’s worries about a healthy pregnancy stem from the heartbreak they endured when they lost their son Jack in 2020.

“We are in shock and in deep pain that you have never heard of, pain that you have never felt before,” Teigen wrote in an October 2020 Instagram post. Our baby was getting the fluids he needed despite the bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.

According to reports, Teigen’s third pregnancy was rough. She was hospitalized for excessive bleeding from her placenta and she received a blood transfusion when she experienced a “giant blood clot.”

Despite their best efforts, they lost their third baby, but persevered. According to reports, Legend and Teigen chose to conceive via IVF or IVF after losing Jack.

This is not Teigen’s first experience with IVF treatments. In fact, this is how she conceived her first two children, Luna Simone and Miles Theodore.

In fact, of their children, Jack was the only one who conceived naturally.

They announced their pregnancy with Jack through the singer’s music video “Wild,” which was released in August 2020.

A source explained that Jack was seen as a “miracle” by the couple and that “Chrissy never thought it was possible to conceive naturally.”

Now that they have a new baby, the couple can breathe a sigh of relief and fully enjoy their time with their fourth child, whose name has yet to be revealed.
