It’s time to ditch your skin care routine for this handy hack.
Keke Palmer revealed on Instagram on Thursday that her pregnancy was the “cure” for the acne she’d struggled with for years.
“No more bumps,” said the 29-year-old Disney Channel alum, showing off her smooth skin.
“I’ve found the secret to curing acne. What do you think it is? You have to knock up. Period. Point blank. Period,” Palmer continued.
“The reason my skin is so clear is because I’m pregnant with a baby now…the baby cleared my skin.”
“I’m going to be pregnant for the rest of my life,” quipped the talk show host.
In the caption, Palmer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson, urged fans to watch her Instagram story where she shared a candid selfie.
“My baby is already looking for me,” she joked.
“Fact. I had the best skin I’ve ever had during my pregnancy. I didn’t have a single pimple until about 7 months postpartum.” [sic]’” commented “Riverdale” star Vanessa Morgan.
However, not everyone had the same experience.
“The opposite happened to me,” complained singer Candice Boyd.
Palmer has been open about dealing with acne in the past, trying Accutane and changing her diet to clear her complexion.
In 2020, the “My Jeans” muse revealed she had been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, which often causes acne, and said her skin was “so bad that people in my field Offered to pay me to fix it.
I don’t think she had tried to conceive yet.
