LPGA player, major champ Sophia Popov announces she’s pregnant

“We said we didn’t want to wait too long,” Popov said. “I don’t want to be in a situation where I’m under pressure.”

The recent success of moms like Stacey Lewis, who won a championship after giving birth to daughter Chesney, reinforced Popov’s determination to return to the tour in 2024 at the latest.
