Murdered Natalie was going to reveal pregnancy to wider family on Christmas Day

Murdered mother-to-be Natalie McNally planned to reveal to her family that she was pregnant on Christmas Day, her parents said.

A 32-year-old woman, 15 weeks pregnant, was stabbed to death at her home in Largan.

She was set to undergo a scan that week to find out the sex of the baby.

Her family and police are seeking information that could catch her killer. CCTV footage of her being found near her Silverwood Green home was released and Crimestoppers offered her a £20,000 reward for the information.

Parents Bernie and Noel said they plan to tell the wider family about her pregnancy at a Christmas gathering.

“Natalie was delighted and we were overjoyed. Everything just worked out and she couldn’t be happier,” Noel told Sunday Life.

“I always thought the worst would be for one of my children to die before me, but one of them was so brutally killed and was my grandson. I can’t imagine doing this, daughter, how could someone be so evil?

Bernie continues:

“She was a private little person and loved her own space. But we come from a big family and she loved being a part of it.”

They also described the moment the police showed up at their door early in the morning to announce their daughter’s death.

Noel said: Then leave her alone (in her house) without calling her ambulance and scratch her head like that? ”
