A pregnant woman whose body was found decomposing in the home of a man accused of shooting a gas station clerk in Montgomery County, Maryland, has been identified.

Police said Torrey Damian Moore killed 26-year-old Dennis Middleton sometime in October. Middleton’s body was found last Friday, while Montgomery County police were executing a search warrant linked to the shooting death of 61-year-old Ayaryu Wondim at Moore’s home on her drive to Oak Leaf. .

Police found Middleton’s body in an “advanced stage of decomposition” in his bedroom. Her autopsy showed that she was 38 weeks pregnant when she died, and that her baby (a boy) would have been alive had she been delivered at that time. Her autopsy also found that she had been shot several times.

According to police, Moore told detectives that he had an affair with Middleton and that she was killed during “some sort of fight between the two” about a month ago.

Moore, 31, has been charged with first-degree murder against Middleton and first-degree murder for the death of an unborn baby. He has also been charged with assaulting a pregnant person.

Now he is being held without bail for Wondim’s murder.

Wandim was a gas station clerk at the Dash Inn convenience store on New Hampshire Avenue when Moore walked in around 3pm on December 8th.

Video surveillance and eyewitness testimony indicate that Moore and Wondim got into an altercation and brawl, with Moore throwing merchandise at Wondim and attempting to fight back with a metal rod.

Moore then pulled a handgun from under his vest and shot Wongdim several times at “point-blank range” before fleeing, police said. Montgomery County Police Chief Marcus Jones said at a press conference last week that Moore continued firing at Wondim after he collapsed.
