NEW YORK (PIX11) — The legacy of slain NYPD officer Jason Rivera will live on through the birth of his child, his widow announced a year after the officer was fatally shot.
Rivera and Officer Wilbert Mora were fatally wounded by gunmen in an ambush while responding to a domestic dispute in Manhattan on January 21, 2022. They were both memorialized on Saturday. During the service, Dominique Luzriaga Rivera said she was pregnant with the child of her murdered husband.
